ATTENTION ALL U9-U12 teams
As the spring season winds down, please make sure to submit all your game sheets as soon as possible.
ALL game sheets should be submitted by no later than June 30
The Final Standings will determine which teams advance to the City Playoffs and which teams will play in the St. Charles CUP
ALL TEAMS will resume play after the September long weekend.
Teams will be advised as to which playoff round they will be advancing to by email after JULY 15.
WYSA City Finals will be held on October 03
St. Charles Cup semi finals will be held on October 03
St. Charles Cup FINALS will be held on October 04

Every attempt will be made to post Game and Practise Field Cancellations on this site.
Regardless of the weather - If NO cancellation notice is posted, then report to your game as scheduled.
When in doubt, go to your game.
Game cancellations will also be noted on the district phone line 832-6499. If there is no message regarding a cancellation then go to your game as usual.
PORTAGE TRAIL SOCCER CLUB LAUNCHES SUMMER SOCCER CAMP…
Want to get your kids out of the house and away from TV and endless hours of video games?
Are they getting too old for daycare and bored with traditional camps?
Do they love soccer and wish to improve their game?
If your answer is yes, then let PTSC Youth Soccer Academy be their summer vacation destination.
If your child wishes to play Premier-level soccer, strong technical skills and intensity are critical.
Antonio Trujillo, the Head Coach of PTSC and Academy Director, will be offering a number of week-long training sessions through the PTSC Summer Soccer Academy designed to expand players' technical base and prepare them for entry to the Premier Soccer Program. After leaving professional coaching, he has developed many elite athletes, led them to success at the national and international level, and seeded the Provincial and National Programs, as well as, varsity and professional teams for the past 30 years.
Give your child the same opportunities, consider the PTSC Summer Academy Program. Remember summer day camps qualify under the same provisions as daycare for Revenue Canada income tax purposes. Please click PTSC to download a registration form.

Charleswood Youth Soccer is celebrating 40 years this weekend.
Charleswood is hosting a soccer jamboree for their club teams at Westdale Soccer pitch on Saturday June 20
and is hosting a social evening as well.

Valour U 12 boys and the RAS U12 girls are in the CBC cup finals on June 20th at 11:00 AM at Westdale School.
Spectators are welcome

Valour Community Centre along with the Spence Neighbourhood Association, IRCOM, NEEDS INC and the Boys and Girls Club would like to extend a big THANK YOU to the members of the St. Charles Soccer Association who helped them fit the children of the Valour-Spence teams with cleats. The donations of new and used cleats were plentiful and almost all of the children were able to find a pair that fit them perfectly. All of the cleats that were not used were donated to the Inner City Soccer Program of the Winnipeg School Division. Once again please accept our thanks for your part in making the dream of these children playing organized soccer a reality.

Fundraiser: St. Charles U11 Boys Developmental Team is raising funds to support their trip to Minnesota this summer to compete in the USA Cup. We will be holding a Bud, Spud and Steak on Friday, June 26th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Tijuana Yacht Club, Canad Inns Destination Centre, Polo Park, 1405 St. Matthew's Ave. There will be good food, 50/50 draw and a Silent Auction. On Thursday, May 28 2009 the KWCC mini program took advantage of the district’s free demonstration by Hugh Swan of the One with One DVD. The ½ hour clinic was well attended and enjoyed by parents and kids alike. Thanks to Kim Turner and KWCC for setting it all up and Hugh Swan for presenting the program.
It is not too late for other clubs to take advantage of this new program. Also, if you have not already picked up the DVD’s for each of your age five mini families, contact Peter Muir. The DVD’s are provided free of charge and complements of WYSA and St. Charles. If you’re a parent of a age five mini player and haven’t received a DVD, contact your club soccer or mini soccer convenor as most have copies. The district also has extra copies as well.
